Justin Lee has spent over twenty years looking after domain names and the records behind them. First inside data centres and telcos, where a misconfigured record takes something large offline and you learn to be careful, and since then for brands across Singapore and the region. Justin also an adjunct lecturer at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and advises several other businesses and startups.

That background sets how Securlogic works. Changes are managed by technical experts, and then documented in a register you keep your own copy of.

Leave whenever you want and take the full register with you, documented. There's nothing to unpick, because it was all in your name the whole time.

We help to get anything registered to the wrong party transferred into your company's name; scattered accounts get pulled together. Transfers are done in phases, so nothing stops resolving, even briefly.

The things people ask first

Are you a registrar/reseller?

We're a reseller for .sg domains, so .sg and .com.sg domain registration and renewal can go through us directly, alongside .com, .net and the rest, rather than sending you somewhere else. Singapore's .sg namespace is administered by SGNIC, and .com.sg carries local presence requirements that trip businesses up when they register without help. But selling you a name is the smallest part of what we do. A registrar takes the payment and leaves the rest to you; we're the ones who keep the renewal funded, check the ownership record actually says your company, make your DNS changes, and pick up the phone when your mail stops arriving. The registration is a line item. The looking after is the service.

What is a corporate registrar, and how is Domain Asset Management different?

A corporate registrar such as CSC, MarkMonitor or Com Laude is an accredited registrar selling only to large enterprises: managed portfolios, registry locks, an account team, trademark enforcement, all priced for companies holding hundreds of names with a legal department behind them. Domain Asset Management is the same discipline at SME scale: ownership verified, renewals funded and watched, DNS changes made for you, certificates and email records kept right. If a corporate registrar has quoted you and it felt built for a company ten times your size, this is the version that fits.

Do we still own our domains?

Yes, without qualification. If you don't currently, that's usually the first thing we fix. Every name stays registered to your company as legal registrant, and you keep administrative access to everything we manage. We're the technical contact, not the owner.

Do you still offer web hosting?

No. Securlogic no longer sells hosting. We now concentrate entirely on looking after the domain names, DNS, certificates and email records that sit in front of your website, wherever that website happens to live. If you're an existing SecurHost customer, get in touch and we'll talk through your options.

We're happy with our current registrar. Is that a problem?

Not at all. Bringing names together usually makes life simpler, but if you're committed to a registrar we'll manage things where they are. The careful renewal process and the ownership record matter far more than whose logo is on the invoice.

What actually is DMARC, and do we need it?

DMARC tells other mail servers what to do with messages claiming to be from your domain that don't pass authentication, and reports back on who's sending as you. Without it, anyone can send mail in your company's name and you'd have no idea. The large mail providers now expect it, so for a business sending real volume it isn't really optional any more.

Are you available round the clock?

No, and we'd rather be honest about that than pretend otherwise. We're a small Singapore outfit working Singapore hours. What we offer instead is that the checks run every day without anyone needing to remember, and that the person who answers already knows your setup, which in practice resolves things faster than a night shift reading a ticket for the first time.

Do you use AI?

Yes, in places. It is useful for reading a lot of data quickly: sifting monitoring output, spotting patterns across records, drafting routine analysis. We don't advertise it, because it isn't what you are paying for. AI does not decide whether to transfer your domain, change a live DNS record, or move your DMARC policy to enforcement. Those are judgement calls with consequences, and a person who knows your setup makes them, every time. AI reads. People decide.

You're small. What happens if you're unavailable?

A fair question, and the reason we work the way we do. Everything is documented in a register you hold your own copy of, you keep full registrar and DNS access at all times, and renewals and monitoring run automatically rather than depending on anyone remembering. If we vanished tomorrow you would still own every asset, still be able to reach it, and still have the paperwork to prove it. That is more than most companies can say about their current arrangement.

How long does the handover take, and will anything go down?

Most are finished within a month. Nothing goes down: DNS changes are staged with lowered TTLs and checked before cutover, and domain transfers don't interrupt anything resolving. Anything with real risk attached gets scheduled outside your business hours. If you do not understand any of this, it's okay. That's why we are here to help.

What happens if we want to leave?

You take the complete register with you: every name, record, certificate, login and renewal date, written down. There's nothing technical to unpick, because everything was in your name from the start.
